At Oklahoma Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, our goal is to provide you with the highest quality podiatric care in the metroplex. Dr. Straehla and her team of experienced professionals offer compassionate, comprehensive care for a multitude of common podiatric conditions, such as bunions, hammertoes, sports injuries, heel pain and more. The OKPMS staff is fully prepared and qualified to treat patients of all ages.​
While our practice specializes in foot and ankle care, the entire patient is our focus. We work directly with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that addresses all your health needs and concerns, ensuring that you receive the most exceptional and personalized care available.

Dr. Leila Straehla
Dr. Leila Straehla brings nearly a decade of experience in podiatric medicine and surgery to the OKC – Edmond area.

Dr. Straehla began her professional pursuits at Kansas State University, where she earned her biology degree. Upon graduation, she moved to Iowa and attend the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. After earning her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Straehla completed residency at Aventura hospital where she served as chief resident her last two years. Following residency, she returned to Kansas, where she worked in private practice before moving to Oklahoma in 2017.

Dr. Straehla has received many accolades regarding her work in podiatry. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). Additionally, she is a member of the Oklahoma Podiatric Medical Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle surgeons.

It has been a dream of Dr. Straehla to open her own podiatric practice since attending med school. Her passion is being able to serve her community.

When Dr. Straehla isn’t helping and healing patients in the OKC metroplex, she’s spending time with her family in Oklahoma and Kansas, attending Kansas State and OSU football games, and enjoying an active, fun-filled lifestyle with her son and husband.
